TAHMO — Trans-African Hydro-Meteorological Observatory

Network of ~700+ low-cost automated weather stations across ~20 African countries. Founded 2010 as a Delft-TU/Oregon State public-good initiative. The only network attempting dense, real-time meteorological coverage of Sub-Saharan Africa, where national met agency station density is 10-100x below WMO recommendations.
