GEDI L4B Gridded Aboveground Biomass Density v2.1
The GEDI L4B product provides 1km gridded estimates of mean aboveground biomass density (AGBD) derived from GEDI L4A footprint-level biomass estimates. GEDI (Global Ecosystem Dynamics Investigation) is a full-waveform lidar instrument on the International Space Station that provides high-resolution measurements of forest canopy height and vertical structure. The L4B gridded product uses statistical models to predict biomass from GEDI waveform metrics, aggregated to a 1km grid. Covers the GEDI observation domain between 51.6N and 51.6S latitude.
