HydroLAKES v1.0

HydroLAKES is a database of 1.4 million lakes and reservoirs worldwide, derived from the HydroSHEDS framework. It provides shoreline polygons and attribute data for all lakes with a surface area of at least 10 hectares. Attributes include lake area, volume estimates, shore length, average depth, elevation, and pour point coordinates. The dataset supports global-scale hydrological and ecological analyses involving lake distribution, water storage, and freshwater biodiversity.
