glofas-flood-depth-la-plata

unverified
v0.1.0

100-year river flood depth over a Rio de la Plata window, read from the JRC GloFAS global flood hazard maps published as a Portolan STATIC catalog on Source Cooperative. The single source layer resolves through the catalog-search static search backend (collection walk + versions.json sha256 pins); a flooded-pixel mask feeds a terminal answer layer reporting the mean modeled inundation depth. The demand fixture for sdk/050 (static-catalog search backend).

The contract

governed folia/0.1

Read from this recipe's own declarations — parameters:, outputs:, requires:, and the ops its layers name. Not from its style blocks and not from any benchmark: a colour ramp is not a contract, and a measured run is evidence about one AOI rather than a domain.

Parameters

parametertypedomaindefaultwhat it does
bbox array of number, exactly 4 items [-58.05,-34.95,-57.85,-34.8] AOI bounding box [w, s, e, n] in WGS84 lon/lat. Default is the byte-verified ground-truth window on the Rio de la Plata estuary near Buenos Aires / La Plata (probe 2026-07-21).

Outputs

outputkindlayerwhat it is
flood_depth answer answer/flood-depth Mean 100-yr flood depth over the flooded footprint (meters). THE answer.
flooded_depth raster compute/flooded-depth The depth raster masked to its flooded footprint (show-your-work).

Capabilities it requires

Declares no requires: block, so it asks nothing of a host beyond the engine itself.

Where it runs

  • Browser preview does not run here answer/flood-depth: layer type "answer" is not one folia-view parses; compute/flooded-depth: depends on layer "source/depth-rp100", which cannot run here; source/depth-rp100: op "catalog_raster" has no browser kernel
  • Local CLI (folia run) runs here runs locally through the governed folia/0.1 parser
  • Operated fleet (POST /plan, /run) runs here binds to a canonical digest, so a lock is checked by digest equality
