products: GHSL POP (Copernicus, 100 m / 9 arc-sec, annual epochs),
WorldPop (100 m, country-year), Kontur Population (H3-hex, 400 m
equivalent), LandScan (ORNL, 1 km ambient / night). Consumed by
exposure-analysis ops (flood, heat, conflict), demographic
weighting in service-access analyses, and humanitarian targeting
in conflict-zone analytics where census tables are unavailable.
