Fraction of ground covered by living vegetation (FCOVER) or, more generally, by living organisms forming the dominant structural layer of an ecosystem. Ground-truth networks include JRC GBOV, NEON, TERN AusCover, ICOS, and Copernicus ImagineS; satellite proxies anchor CEOS LPV cal/val.
