Seasonality of ecosystem-level fluxes and structure — start-of-season,
peak-of-season, end-of-season and growing-season-length derived from
satellite vegetation indices (MODIS MCD12Q2, Sentinel-2/3 HR-VPP,
Landsat LCMAP) and eddy-covariance NEE seasonality (FLUXNET, ICOS,
NEON, AmeriFlux). Distinct from species-level phenology — the unit is
the pixel or footprint, not the organism. Key indicator of climate-
driven shifts in carbon uptake and drought stress.
